Our mission
SIBE’s mission is based on the two following objectives and obligations:
- SIBE provides a framework for people to develop into creative personalities. A creative personality is characterized by the ability and clear-sightedness to recognize opportunities, approach them courageously, think them through thoroughly, assess them carefully and responsibly, and turn them into value-creating reality.
- SIBE provides a framework within which ideas can develop into high-quality innovations. A high-quality innovation is characterized by the fact that the new is not only different from what exists but also creates more value in a broad sense.
These objectives and obligations apply to SIBE’s teaching, research and corporate culture. Teaching at SIBE enables students to develop a life perspective that is characterized by discovering, understanding, evaluating, realizing and leading. Research at SIBE is all about successful and far-reaching knowledge transfer between science and industry. SIBE’s corporate culture is characterized by social practices, structures and processes with which SIBE, as a loyal and trustworthy partner, can meet its own objectives and obligations. In this way, we – faculty members, employees and managers at SIBE – want our degree programs to make it possible for our graduates to be highly successful. We aim to do this by enabling them to realize value-adding and sustainable benefits for companies, organizations and society with their creative personalities Because your success is our success!
