Stenbeis India has been at RenewX, Hyderabad, a Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, a two day exhibition (April 13 – 14) at Hitex, Hyderabad. This visit has helped to generate new leads for training and placement promotions in meeting the industries with new solar market trends.
The team has visited over 150 exhibitors that include Solar manufacturers, EPCs, distributors and service providers.

Steinbeis participates in the Interactive Meeting on 20th March with World Bank Officials, organised by Institute of Directors at Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industries
Steinbeis participated in the Interactive Meeting organized by the Institute of Directorswith World Bank Officials visiting Hyderabad on 20th March 2018. The interactive session focused on the study of Industry competitiveness in State of Telangana.
The World Bank Group was embarking on a study to understand how patterns of firm growth vary across Indian states, and how that variation relates to the state-level policy environment. This study was led by the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice (FCI) of the Word Bank.
As part of this study, the team conducted an in-depth qualitative exploration of business regulation and other policies affecting firms in two selected states. The team was interested in meeting with private players, regulatory bodies, industry associations and think tanks, and conducting semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions.
The findings of this study would be documented in a World Bank publication and could form the basis for future studies on specific state-level policies, and for developing state-level policy recommendations for firm dynamics and job growth in India.
Mr. Vineet Kumar Goyal, Director Steinbeis India, met the CEO of a large Industrial Group in India who are establishing an Defence and Aerospace Park in Andhra Pradesh. The objective is to establish joint Trainings in India for various areas of expertise in defence and aerospace.

Technology Offer – Fire protection system for storage tanks
One of our partners developed a technology that provides uncompromised safety against full surface fires for large diameter atmospheric storage tanks – even if personnel, water supply, and electrical resources are vague and terrain, room, and climate are unfavourable – without polluting the environment or endangering lives. The client is looking for business partners for licensing the technology and knowhow.
Steinbeis India participates in the Kick-Off meeting for Solar PV Capacity Building Project at German Development Organisation, New Delhi
Steinbeis India has partnered with a German Organisation and the German Development Organisation at New Delhi, to organise capacity building programs in Solar PV Technologies for various organisations. Target group involves Training of Trainers for Suryamitra Training, Training of Inspectors for SECI, Trainings for DISCOM Management and Engineers and lastly Trainings for SNA Officials.
Steinbeis approached by a large Indian Company in various Consumer Products, to assist them in Technology Management with Focus on Industry 4.0
Steinbeis India together with Steinbeis Global Institute Tubingin, Steinbeis University Berlin, has offered Technology and Innovation Services – Consulting as well as Capacity Building, to a large Indian Company. The Company has been trying to apply Industry 4.0 and different divisions of the company have been working on applications of this technology. Steinbeis services shall involve bringing a focus and coherence to all these initiatives from the Management level till Executive level.
Technology Offer – Energy from Ocean Waves
One of our client is offering a new technology – “ Energy from Ocean Waves”. The technology has a scientific expert opinion of Polish universities (Maritime University of Szczecin and West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin) confirming the coherent method, innovation in a scale of world and potential applicability of the invention.
The invention is related to the device, which is modular, scalable and mobile (floating). The main competitive advantages of WAVE-ECO include:
– taking energy from vast surface of waves and transmitting it to one generator
– capability for adaptation to different heights of waves and for continuous generation of energy
– affordable and easy adjustment to needs and conditions
Project requires R&D work, construction of prototype etc. Our client is looking for companies from industry, who would develop this technology for their use as licensees, in cooperation with national universities during R&D phase.
There is no strong competition and mature technologies on this market – only quite numerous experiments. Wave energy is available continuously (as opposed to wind and solar). The project has a global potential.
Visit of Steinbeis Expert to India 11-12 Jan 2018
Prof. Bertram Lohmueller, Director, Steinbeis Global Institute Tubingen, visited Hyderabad on 10th and 11th of Jan 2018. Prof. Lohmueller visited T-HUB Incubation Centre and also had meetings with State Government Officials on the issues of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship. Steinbeis shall have the opportunity of supporting various initiatives of the State Government through capacity building and mentoring enterprises in the areas of Innovation and Technology Management.
